It's a wonder if Dune is going to be the blockbuster Warner Bros. is hoping for and fans of the book need it to be. Because without profit, the second installment needed to completely adapt the legendary Frank Herbert sci-fi novel will not happening. Perhaps this is why character posters have been released today that not only highlight the all-star ensemble but help organize in the minds of viewers who plays what character in the intricate plot that is Dune. Dune is directed by Denis Villeneuve (who co-wrote the script with Jon Spaihts and Eric Roth). It is set to be released theatrically in the United States on October 22nd with a simultaneous release on the HBO Max streaming service for 31 days. The film will have it's world premiere on September 3rd at the Venice International Film Festival.
