Following the release of photos last week (See them here), the official trailer for the big budget adaptation of Dune is here. Some are actually even comparing some of the visuals to David Lynch's infamous adaptation and the trailer has a song choice referencing another famous attempt at adapting Frank Herbert's novel. And, finally, the novel's famous sandworms in action that were briefly teased in concept art released on covers of Empire Magazine a couple weeks back (Check those out here). Without further adieu, check the trailer out below:
Dune stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem. It is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Who co-wrote the script with Jon Spaihts and Eric Roth). It is set to be released in theaters on December 18th.
