Confirmed through a video released on their Twitter, it's been confirmed that the upcoming sequel to the hit 2020 Netflix film Enola Holmes, based on the first book in the young adult fiction series of the same name by Nancy Springer, has wrapped filming. Check it out below:
While the first film was based on the 2007 installment The Case of the Left-Handed Lady, the sequel is expected to adapt the immediate 2008 sequel The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets. Millie Bobby Brown is returning as the titular lead while Henry Cavill will reprise the role of her older, more famous brother Sherlock Holmes. In addition, it's been confirmed that Helena Bonham Carter is returning as the Holmes matriarch, Eudoria Holmes and Louis Partridge is coming back as Enola's friend/possible love interest Tewkesbury. The first film's writer Jack Thorne and director Harry Bradbeer are also returning in their respective positions. No release date has been announced. Stay tuned!
