In a surprise and welcoming piece of throwback media, as if heralding the release of Bill & Ted Face the Music in select theaters and PVOD on August 28th, new audition tapes have been released by Daily Mail, showing the most excellent pair of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reading through scenes when they tried out for the original film 1989 film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Even more interesting, the first of the two videos sees them playing the other's now iconic roles with Reeves playing Bill and Winter as Ted while the second video shows the actors playing the roles they have no become known for. And second, the video with them playing the correct parts, showing how from the beginning the duo had most excellent chemistry:
