Next week, the Russo Brothers' first film post-MCU will see if they can expand their filmography beyond the four wildly successful blockbusters they did under the Marvel brand. It's release in theaters this past weekend has led to not the best reviews (Currently holding a 38% on Rotten Tomatoes) but perhaps audiences will have a different reaction when it lands on AppleTV+ next week on March 12th.
Cherry, which brings along their Avengers collaborator Tom Holland who takes on the lead role of Nico Walker. While Cherry will carry over the wide-ranged tonal shifts that the Russos had to bring to the last two Avengers films (Wholly shifting through genres and production styles for various chapters of Nico's life), they will also attempt to tell a more gritty and character-driven film. This is brought to life in the new featurette released today (Titled "Inside Look: Journey") which you can check out below:
