The early reviews for Tenet have compared it to Christopher Nolan's early mind-bending 2010 film Inception with his new film currently carrying an 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. Like Inception, Tenet is being praised for it's visuals and wild ideas. With the film set to be released on August 26th in the UK and in the US on September 3rd, a final 3-minute trailer has been released, focusing on the headlining plot device of Time Inversion that allows the film's more wild visual set pieces to occur in the narrative. Check it out below:
Tenet star John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
@Rambo: Well, “Dunkirk” didn’t really have anyone big either, remember? That had a One Direction band member in a lead role and that film made north of $500 million. Star power isn’t needed for Nolan because his ideas are what often draw people in. But my issue here is that he wanted this to be the first blockbuster back in theaters during all this and study after study shows no one really wants to risk it. He’s usually so pragmatic, it’s what I liked about him as a filmmaker. This just feels like a bad move/
@sleuth
Yep. Pretty sure the movie will lose some money. And it doesn't have DiCaprio this time to attract the chicks like inception did.
I AM THE LAW!!!
