Serving as the first of several planned spin-offs to the highly successful Disney+/Star Wars series The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett has finally confirmed it's premiere date, essentially serving as a fill-in for the holiday slot that The Mandalorian has occupied on the streaming service for the last two years although more near the end of the year. It's been confirmed today that the series will premiere on Disney+ on December 9th. This was confirmed by the first official poster for the series which the official Star Wars Twitter page put up:
The series will pick up where Boba Fett (Played Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Played by Ming-Na Wen) were last seen in The Mandalorian season two finale credits stinger. After having returned to Tatooine and having staked their claim on the territory of the crime syndicate of the late Jabba the Hutt, the pair will now be forced to navigate the Galaxy's underworld to keep what is now theirs.
The series will be executive produced by Robert Rodriguez, Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni. Stay tuned!
