Two days ago, it was confirmed that No Time to Die, the last blockbuster that could have been in theaters this year, would be delated until April of 2021 (See the original article here). What's fascinating is what's left with the last "big" film of the year being Ryan Reynold's Free Guy. Set to land in theaters on December 11th, the film focuses on non-player character (NPC) in a video game who becomes self-aware he is in a video game. He then seeks to become a hero in his own right and save his game before developers can shut it down.
A new trailer is set to land tomorrow and, instead of a "teaser of the trailer" beforehand as has been common in the last few years, director Shawn Levy and the cast instead have had a little fun, acknowledging the date could be changed and show off how they might prepare for it. Check out, whatever it is, below:
Free Guy co-stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rey Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi.
No one can release their garbage films. I think it's hilarious. Burn baby burn.
