Following the massive success of Sucker Punch Productions' single-player video game Ghosts of Tsushima, which was praised for it's authentic depiction of Japanese and samurai culture (Even in the gameplay), it's now been confirmed by the studio that a multiplayer co-op DLC for the game, titled Ghosts of Tsushima: Legends, will be released as a free download this Fall. And with this DLC, you and up to three friends will be allowed to experience an all-new adventure. Check out the announcement trailer for it below:
The DLC will be inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology in which players will choose from one of four classes – Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin. Once picked, players will have the option of entering a series of two-player story missions with escalating difficulty or four-player wave-based survival missions against new Oni enemies with supernatural abilities. Shortly after the launch of the DLC, the four-player option will also feature a Raid which will send you and your partners to an entirely new realm to challenge a brutal, terrifying enemy. Players will be able to play along with friends or via online matchmaking. Stay tuned!
