For those perhaps tired of the MCU's comedic take on Thor might prefer the upcoming interpretation set to appear in the game God of War Ragnarök. Serving as a direct sequel to the 2019 soft reboot of the hit franchise, Kratos continues his journey with his son Atreus (revealed to be a kid version of Loki) as they prepare to take on the God of Thunder along with the remaining gods of Norse mythology that he didn't kill in the first game.
However, given the extensive nature of the last game, PlayStation was kind enough to release a near-7-minute video recap that tells the story uniquely through the combined efforts of fan favorite actress Felicia Day and Milir, the head-only storyteller who became part of the father-son duo's journey in the previous game. God of War Ragnarök is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9th, for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5).
