While Love, Death & Robots is set to have another eight-episode third season, this season will not be completely an anthology as the previous two. It's been confirmed that at least two of the stories from season one will have continuation tales in the new season. Given the wild and unpredictable nature of this adult animated series, those continuations might not necessarily conclude but rather complicate the respective narratives of the first season.
Course, given the fact the series is a re-imagining a long in-development reboot of the 1981 animated science fiction film Heavy Metal, it's more a strong bet that executive producer David Fincher and series creator Tim Miller will throw audiences for a loop once again. That is why the show is unpredictable and why the key art released today for the show is so intriguing. It might not mean what you think it means:
