What seems to have already become an iconic image (and the film's not even out yet!) is that of Michael Myers' coldly stepping out of the front door of the burning house at the beginning of the upcoming film Halloween Kills. The house he was left in by Laurie Strode and her family in the previous installment, 2018's Halloween. And as been also promoted is Myers' now burnt mask, implying his inhumane resilience to pain as he continues his hunt to finish off Laurie once and for all. Such is the focus of both a new Dolby Cinema poster and a short promotional video released on the film's official Instagram page. Check them both out below. First the poster:
And finally, the new video:
Halloween Kills stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Castle, James Jude Courtney, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Anthony Michael Hall, and Thomas Mann. It is directed by David Gordon Green (who co-wrote the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems). It is set to have a same day release in theaters and on Peacock on October 15th.
