"Minari" Debuts Official Trailer

Despite a lot of industries making a lot of adjustments, the film industry's award season is still going full speed ahead with several contenders for the Oscars next year starting to make their impressions. While Nomadland was one film that has gotten a lot of attention at festivals, the A24-produced film Minari has been picking up steam. Especially after winning big at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Not only did it take the Grand Jury Prize for Drama, but it also took the Audience Award for the U.S. Dramatic Competition.
Directed and written by Lee Isaac Chung, the story focuses on Korean family who moves to Arkansas to start a farm in the 1980's. However, things get a little crazy when the kids' grandmother comes to stay with them.
No official release date has been given for the film, but with award praise already being showered on it, it will be during this award season (Which includes early 2021 this year because of the effects COVID-19 had on production lockdowns). However, you can check out the official trailer for the film that was released today below:
Minari stars Steven Yeun, Han Ye-ri, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, Youn Yuh-jung, and Will Patton.
