It probably comes as no surprise, given the film's focus on alienating youth at the beginning of the computer age, that the jungle scenes in the 2000 film The Beach, according to director Danny Boyle, were inspired by the 1998 Nintendo-produced game Banjo-Kazooie. What lends to this in particular is the above photograph from the scene that depicts Richard (Played by Leonardo DiCaprio) pretending he's in a video game. Stay tuned!
