Movie Fact #84 - November 9th, 2020

 

While 1959's Ben-Hur is only one of three films to win 11 Academy Awards (Alongside 1997's Titanic and 2003's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King), it is the only one of the three to count acting awards among those 11. Namely, Charles Heston won for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role as Judah Ben-Hur and Hugh Griffith won Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role as Sheik Ilderim. Stay tuned!
