Following last week's first look photos from Vanity Fair (See them here), Mike Flanagan’s new Netflix show The Haunting of Bly Manor, a follow-up to his critically acclaimed series on the streaming service, The Haunting of Hill House, has released it's official teaser trailer.
This season will be written primarily as an updated, modern take on Henry James' classic psychological gothic horror novella The Turn of the Screw (While working elements of James’ The Jolly Corner and The Romance of Certain Old Clothes into the story). Thus, following the basic premise of The Turn of the Screw, the story will follow a young woman who moves to the English countryside to care for two orphaned children, encountering evidence of a grim history and entities she can’t begin to explain.
