Amazon Prime seems to be favoring sci-fi quite a lot. In conjunction with today's release of their similar show Outer Range, the official trailer for the upcoming series Night Sky has been released. The show stars Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons as married couple Irene and Franklin York who years ago discovered a chamber buried in their backyard. One that leads to a strange, deserted planet. As an enigmatic young man enters their lives, the couple come to realize there is much more to the secret they have carefully guarded than they could have ever imagined. Check out the trailer below:
David C. Connolly (The Son, Into The Badlands) serves as showrunner with Holden Miller writing the series. Both serve as executive producers with Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen (HBO's Mosaic) along with Emmy and BAFTA Award-winner Philip Martin.
