The suicide of celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain in 2018 was a hard one for people. Not only was he a renowned chef but a book author and travel documentarian who starred in programs focusing on the exploration of international culture, cuisine, and the human condition. In short, he seemingly sought to unite two great things about life. Food and humanity. The poster for the upcoming documentary focused on Bourdain, titled Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain, simply works to imply how he was a man of many talents:
But the trailer works to fully present those facets of the culinary explorer. Sadly, while his journey ended tragically (his suicide believed to be an impulsive act of a man long suffering underneath), it becomes clear his travels were his attempts to find joy in the world. Set to make it's world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival next Friday (June 11th), you can check out the trailer for the documentary below and see that while he hadn't quite found joy for himself, he brought it to every person who had a chance to work with him:
