I mean...Willy's Wonderland IS the movie version of the popular video game series Five Nights at Freddy's. Except, instead of a security guard who sits in a security office and tries to prevent animatronic animals from reaching him, Nicolas Cage's new movie takes a more direct approach. Playing a quiet drifter who takes a position as a night-shift janitor for the titular entertainment center, Cage's character (Along with teenagers who break into the center) must survive until the morning. And heads are going to roll, whether they are made of metal or flesh.
Originally set to hit theaters last year October 30, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will now be released on video on demand on February 12th of this year. With the film a month from premiering, the official trailer has been released today which you can check out below:
Willy's Wonderland co-stars Emily Tosta, Ric Reitz, Chris Warner, Kai Kadlec, Christian Del Grosso, Caylee Cowan, Terayle Hill, Jonathan Mercedes, David Sheftell, and Beth Grant. It is directed by Kevin Lewis.
