"Peaky Blinders" to End with Season 6

Writer: Nicholas E. LauerNicholas E. Lauer

In a sad moment for the show's hardcore fanbase, it's been confirmed today that the popular BBC/Netflix produced show Peaky Blinders will end after it's currently-in-production sixth season (Which was briefly delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

The show's creator Steven Knight hopes to continue the show in another form (With talk of a movie being teased). While the show has only just gained a following in the US, it's a massive hit and being on Netflix has helped to increase it's exposure. It was believed that complications of filming during the COVID-19 pandemic may have also led to this decision.

The show, which premiered in 2013, follows Tommy Shelby (Played by Cillian Murphy) and his rise to power in post-WWI Birmingham. Hopefully, that story will continue for the sake of the fans. Stay tuned!

Never watched it. The premise is just not my cup of tea.
