Ron Howard to Direct Lang Lang Biopic

Adapted by Michelle Mulroney and Kieran Mulroney from his memoir Journey of a Thousand Miles (Co-written by David Ritz), world-renowned pianist Lang Lang is getting the biopic treatment with director Ron Howard at the helm.

The memoir traced Lang’s entire life, describing how his family sacrificed nearly everything to help him go from a child in the provincial city of Shenyang in Northern China to his peak in the global classic music industry. The untitled biopic is being produced by AGC Studios alongside Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment. Lang Lang himself and Jean-Jacques Cesbron will executive produce. Stay tuned!
