It was announced back at the end of August that Arnold Schwarzenegger would star in a new untitled scripted spy series (See the original announcement here). The series will star Schwarzenegger as one half of a father-daughter spy duo that go on a global adventure with Monica Barbaro (Stumptown) now confirmed to play the daughter. Today, it's been confirmed that Netflix has picked up the rights to the series where it will premiere upon completion.
Produced by Skydance Television, the show is the brainchild of Nick Santora who previously created the series Scorpion. Santora will also be serving as showrunner simultaneously for Amazon's new series adaptation of Lee Childs' Jack Reacher novels. He will also serve as showrunner and executive produce alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Bill Bost, and Schwarzenegger himself. Stay tuned!
