Honestly, this might as well be a sequel to True Lies, but in either case, the announcement that Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed on to both lead and executive produce an hour-long spy series for Skydance Television his first regular live-action TV debut, is an exciting one. One that will see him play one half of a father-daughter spy duo that go on a global adventure. However, there has been no announcement who will play the daughter.
The project is created by Nick Santora who was the creator of the show Scorpion, and was also a writer on the original run of Prison Break. He is currently showrunner on the Amazon show Jack Reacher, a position he will maintain while he develops this new project. He will also executive produce this new show alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost. The project will be shopped around to streamers in the very near future. Stay tuned!
