The Mission: Impossible films have become known for the increasingly dangerous stunts performed, often by Tom Cruise himself, trying to enact a sort of Jackie Chan-level of believability to makes audiences' eyes pop in disbelief. And now, after a photo was released yesterday, a set video has been released teasing, potentially, one of the key stunts that will be performed for the upcoming seventh installment...Tom Cruise driving a motorcycle off a ramp and aborting said-motorcycle in mid-air.
It's possible this is part of the set piece that went wrong about a month ago which also involved a planned bike stunt (See the information on that accident here) but hard to say. In any case, check out the footage for the stunt by clicking the image below:
Mission: Impossible 7 co-stars Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, and Esai Morales. It is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is set to hit theaters November 19, 2021, followed by an untitled eighth installment being released on November 4, 2022.
