"Space Jam: A New Legacy" Debuts Official Trailer #2

It's hard to tell whether Space Jam: A New Legacy has a story or it's throwing everything at the wall that it can. The idea behind the sequel is similar to the first film. A fictionalized version of a real basketball star (this time, it's LeBron James) teams up with the Looney Tunes to take on a bad guy that threatens them. This time, however, a twist is they fall into the Serververse, a virtual space ruled by a rogue A.I. named Al-G Rhythm (Don Cheadle) and must work with the Tune Squad to take on Rhythm's Goon Squad in a basketball match.
Today, another full trailer has been released ahead of it's release on July 16th in which the film will simultaneously released in both theaters and on HBO Max for a month after its theatrical release. Check it out below:
Space Jam: A New Legacy co-stars Khris Davis, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Cedric Joe in live-action roles, while Jeff Bergman, Eric Bauza, and Zendaya headline the Looney Tunes voice cast. It is directed by Malcolm D. Lee.
