Opening up in 2022 at both their Hollywood Studios location and in the Epcot Resort Area in Florida, Disneyland's new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Resort will allow guests to immerse themselves in a true experience in that galaxy far, far away (along with featuring a transportation system for guests to enter directly into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge). But one thing in particular that is driving fans nuts is supposedly this resort will feature realistic lightsabers (presumably without burning anyone's face off). These will be apart of a lightsaber training and duels (an extension of the Jedi Training Academy in Disney's Hollywood Studios). And today, an official trailer debuting the lightsaber has been released. Supposedly, this trailer has not been altered and that truly is a handle that emits a beam of light. Check it out below:
