The running joke at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic was that the world was living in a new episode of the popular Netflix series Black Mirror. That show's creator, Charlie Brooker, took that to heart because he's currently working on a Netflix special focusing on the eventful year that has passed. Titled Death to 2020, the mockumentary was revealed (by accident) by Hugh Grant recently though nothing else is known about it except Grant will star in it as an historian.
And while no release date has been announced, Brooker himself has released a brief teaser on his Twitter page that simply emphasizes that even the creator of Black Mirror couldn't have predicted what would transpire this year. Check it out below:
