Zack Snyder's 2021 is starting off quite well. Not only is his long-awaited cut of Justice League landing on HBO Max next month (March 18th), his actual new film Army of the Dead, will land on Netflix a couple months later on May 21st. Returning Snyder to the roots of his first directorial effort and success, the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, Army of the Dead is one that seems determined to simply let audiences just having a good time.
Following the humorous premise of a group of mercenaries who plot a heist on a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak, the teaser trailer released today is minimal in details, but vast in Snyder's signature action but less grim despite the narrative set in the middle of an apocalypse.
