Yesterday, word was flying that the upcoming standalone sequel to the hit 1996 film The Craft (Although it's referred to as a remake on IMDB), might be going straight to video-on-demand given the current COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it's been confirmed today. Titled The Craft: Legacy, it is set to be available on VOD in the United States next month on October 28th. Like the original, the film will deal with a group of high school students who form a coven of witches and begin to abuse their power. In addition, the first trailer for the film has been released. The Craft: Legacy stars Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, Michelle Monaghan, and David Duchovny. It is written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones. Check out the official poster below:
