While The Mandalorian will retain his own individuality among the slew of Star Wars projects in the works, season two will not be afraid to put the titular character and the now iconic Baby Yoda in direct conflict characters from the main canon.
In the official trailer released today, not only is the character teased to directly come in contact with the New Republic, but will potentially find himself face-to-face with the Jedi who the Mandalorians were at war with for years long ago. And while Rosario Dawson and Temuera Morrison don't show up as Ahsoka Tano and Boba Fett, respectively, it's clear that Mando (Or Din Djarin as his real name was revealed to be in the season one finale) will face increasing threats in a new thrill of a season. Check out the trailer below:
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 30th.
