Based on the 1984 novel of the same name by author Robert Kimmel Smith, the first official trailer for The War with Grandpa has been released. The synopsis is as follows:
Upset that he has to share the room he loves with his grandfather, Peter decides to declare war in an attempt to get it back.

The War with Grandpa stars Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, Rob Riggle, Oakes Fegley, Cheech Marin, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Walken. It is directed by Tim Hill and is set to hit theaters October 9th.
