Actor David Oyelowo's directorial debut is one that seems to come out of the mind of Steven Spielberg. Offering a wholesome and imaginative concept, The Water Man sees a young man set out on a quest to save his ill mother by searching for a mythic figure said to have magical healing powers. Following a critically-acclaimed world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last year (Currently holding an RT score of 91%), the film will land in theaters on May 7th.
