Trailer: Netflix's "Hubie Halloween"

While I'm sure some find it quite refreshing to see Adam Sandler doing something a little different last year with the acclaimed film Uncut Gems, I'm sure just as many missed his more fun comedies. For those people, you'll be excited to know he's got a new comedy feature coming to Netflix on October 7th just for the Halloween season!

Titled Hubie Halloween, Sandler plays the eponymous role of Hubie Dubois who thanklessly spends every Halloween making sure the residents of his hometown, Salem, celebrate safely and play by the rules. However, this year, Hubie finds himself on high alert as an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor appear right when people start disappearing. Now it's up to Hubie to convince both the police (Played by Kevin James, Kenan Thompson) and the townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them.

The film is helmed by Sandler's regular collaborator Steven Brill and will see him reunite with a couple actors he hasn't been with in awhile, including his Happy Gilmore co-star Julie Bowen. Ray Liotta, Noah Schnapp, Steve Buscemi, and Maya Rudolph will also co-star. Below, check out the official trailer for the film:
