"Cherry" Debuts First Clip

While marked as a teaser trailer, the first piece of promotion for the Russo Brothers' new film Cherry is more of a clip (Outside of these photos from last November), giving a small snippet of Tom Holland's performance as the film's true story focal point, former Army medic Nico Walker. Walker notably returned from Iraq with extreme un-diagnosed PTSD and fell into opioid addiction before he began robbing banks. The first clip focuses on that crime, delving into Walker's mental process. Check it out below:

Still mostly being kept underwraps, one aspect that is expected to occur is the film will be broken into the six chapters, spanning a fifteen year period from the mid-2000's to the present. To help differentiate these chapters, different lenses and different production design will be used in each chapter, spanning genres ranging from horror to magical realism to even absurdism. It seems audiences won't get to see that till they either catch it during it's brief theatrical run on February 26th (To qualify it for the Oscars) or when it becomes available on Apple TV+ on March 12th.

Cherry co-stars Ciara Bravo, Bill Skarsgard, Jack Reynor, Forrest Goodluck, Jeff Wahlberg, Thomas Lennon, Michael Gandolfini, and Kyle Harvey.
