Last month, audiences got a first look at George Clooney's new Netflix film The Midnight Sky with some photos (See them here) Written by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant), based on the novel Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton, Clooney directs and stars in the film as a scientist named Augustine, alone in the Arctic, who becomes one of the last survivors of a catastrophic extinction event. The other survivors? A group of astronauts who are set to return to Earth and have no knowledge of the catastrophe.
Now, Augustine races to contact them and stop them from returning. Confirmed in a brief teaser today that sets the weighty atmosphere for the film, a full trailer will be released tomorrow, confirming the official date which has been previously quoted to be sometime in December.
