The famous diner scene in 1989's When Harry Met Sally..., which sees Sally Sally Albright (Played by Meg Ryan) fake an orgasm in the diner full of people to make a point to Harry Burns (Played by Billy Crystal), was in many ways a group effort in the writing process despite the script being solely credited to Nora Ephron. The original script only called for Harry and Sally to merely talk about women faking an orgasm. However, in an 11/2/2004 interview with NPR, Ephron directly credited Ryan not only with the idea of faking an orgasm in the famous restaurant scene, but also with the idea of setting it in a restaurant in the first place. The scene's classic ending line "I'll have what she's having", delivered by a female customer (played by Estelle Reiner, mother of the film's director Rob Reiner), was Crystal's idea according to Ephron. And the result was, in 2005, the line was 33rd on the AFI's 100 Years... 100 Movie Quotes list of memorable movie lines. As it should be. Stay tuned!
